Our Modern-Resort Home

This is our House blog. It takes you into our journey from the point of hacking to completion. And finally we moving in and enjoying our house.

It has been around 2 weeks since we moved in on the 29th March 2007. According to grandma, it was an auspicious day to move house. We've kinda adapted to the new change/environment in our lives, especially our lovely daughter. She simply just loves it. Here are some more pixs after we've settled in.

This is the master toilet. We've used warm light to bring out the coziness and the resort-feel. The only one word that I could say about the rain shower is FANTASTIC! It was worth investing after all.

Another side of the toilet view.

Our common toilet that is more of a "modern" look.

Another view of it.

Our kitchen... with the solid worktop and glass backing up.

Our Mitsubishi refrigerator and Toshiba 7.5kg washing machine right at the corner of the kitchen.

Our living room feature wall with our 32" Toshiba TV. Hubby's toy (Xbox) not fix up yet...

Our Picket and Rail Ritz Platform bed.

Picket and Rail dresser. The cabinet on the side of the mirror has lights inside.

Our off-the-shelves V-hive wardrobe.

Dining table from P&R as well. (Light's on)

You can choose a storage heater or a Gas heater from Citigas.
We installed a gas heater to pump water to our shower.
The heater is stored in the kitchen.
